Dear Friends,

Allow me to start by saying thank you; I am truly humbled by the support that I received on Election Day. It is a tremendous honor that you have trusted in me and one that I will not take for granted.

It was a tough and sometimes personal campaign, but the campaign is now over. Now is the time to do the job that you trusted in us.

This upcoming year will have many challenges. My promise to you is that I will do my best for ALL the residents of Bergen County and represent you with the same class and dignity conducted in my campaign. I spoke of things that need to be accomplished in Bergen County and I will do my best to listen to all sides and make educated and well informed decisions.

We were very fortunate to make so many new friends along the campaign trail and that is truly the best part of running for office. From one end of the County to the other, from the Passaic River to the Hudson River, Bergen is the best county in the country. We have so many treasures in the county from our parks, to our schools, to the best workforce in the state. Bergen County is a county with a work ethic second to none.

When I take the office in January and the freeholder board moves forward it will be with that same Bergen County work ethic. We are all affected by the current financial situation and now is not the time for blame, but the time to work on solutions to move forward.

Thank you once again for your support. Working together we can make Bergen County even better.
